Deertrak Golf Club is one of Wisconsin's most picturesque golf courses. Opened in 1986, Deertrak provides a great round of golf, beautiful scenery, and a friendly staff
so your golfing experience is unlike any other.

Deertrak offers just over 6,400 yards of professionally manicured fairways, bunkers, and greens. The golf course contains 34+ gorgeous flower beds,
eight uniquely charming water fountains, and two majestic waterfalls. But, don't let the charm and beauty fool you - several ponds and creeks along with Alderley Lake
add character and challenge to twelve of the eighteen holes. Although these and other holes can be challenging, Deertrak Golf Club provides an enjoyable round

Position Overview:
The General Manager (GM) will oversee all aspects of golf course operations, ensuring an outstanding experience for our members and guests while maintaining high standards of service, hospitality, and business efficiency. The GM will work closely with ownership, Superintendent, staff, and the community to drive revenue, manage day-to-day operations, and uphold the values and reputation of Deertrak Golf Course.

Experience Required

• Proven experience in golf course management or a similar hospitality/club management role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of golf course operations, maintenance, and equipment.
• Marketing and event management experience is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Passion for golf and a deep understanding of the sport and its culture.

Essential Responsibilities

• Operational Management: Oversee daily golf course operations, including pro shop, food and beverage, groundskeeping, Leagues, and events.
• Team Leadership: Hire, train, and manage staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Customer Service: Ensure all guests receive top-tier service, addressing concerns and feedback with professionalism.
• Budgeting and Financial Management: Prepare and manage the annual budget, track revenue and expenses, and work towards financial goals.
• Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers, increase membership, and promote special events.
• Events Coordination: Oversee the planning and execution of tournaments, leagues, and special events.
• Facility Maintenance: Ensure the golf course and facilities are well-maintained, working closely with groundskeeping staff to ensure the course is in excellent condition year-round.
• Compliance: Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to golf course operations, including safety and environmental standards.
