Job Summary
The Loader Operator is responsible for working safely and efficiently to support shipping, receiving, and production operations. This role ensures the timely movement of materials and finished goods while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Shipping & Receiving
Operate mobile equipment such as heavy loaders, skid steers, and yard trucks safely and efficiently.
Load trailers with packaged and bulk materials.
Complete and maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation.
Quality
Ensure all quality assurance procedures are followed and communicated effectively to team members and drivers.
Support continuous improvement by assisting in the development and implementation of new quality processes.
Production (as needed)
Operate production and packaging machinery as required.
Manage stretch wrapping by loading palletized bales, initiating wrap cycles, and transferring finished pallets to storage.
Other Responsibilities
Participate in monthly safety meetings and adhere to all safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Foster teamwork and collaboration with colleagues to support operational success.
Requirements
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, and stooping.
Preferred Experience
1 year of experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
1 year of experience operating industrial or heavy equipment.
1 year of experience in packaging operations.
