PREV HEALTH AUSTRALIA is exploring the development of a psychiatrist-led telepsychiatry initiative and is seeking expressions of interest from a senior psychiatrist who would like to be involved at an early, formative stage.
This initiative is being developed in collaboration with an experienced technology and operations partner who has previously built and supported telepsychiatry platforms in Australia. The core technology and operational infrastructure are already proven, with preparation underway for a planned launch in March–April next year, subject to clinical leadership and governance alignment.
This opportunity may suit a psychiatrist who is interested in:
- Helping shape a modern, patient-centred model of care
- Contributing to the design and clinical direction of a new telepsychiatry service from the ground up
- Providing clinical leadership alongside experienced technology and operations partners
- Participating in high-level strategic discussions and co-creation of service frameworks
- Working within a flexible, telepsychiatry-focused environment
- Exploring a founding partnership role, rather than a traditional employment position

Requirements
Requirements:
- Current Registration with AHPRA as a Specialist Psychiatrist.
- Fellowship of the RANZCP (FRANZCP).
- Interest in digital health, accessibility, and preventive care models.
- Current medical indemnity insurance (or eligibility to obtain).
