Description

CSI Companies is hiring Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) professionals in an outpatient setting. 

Schedule: 40 hours/week 
Work Type: Remote (will travel onsite for orientation)
Position Type: Long-term Consultant 
Compensation: $40-55/hour based on experience, credentials, and education. 

What you’ll do

• Review outpatient/practice documentation and identify opportunities to improve accuracy and clinical specificity
• Apply strong clinical judgment to support accurate condition capture (not relying solely on the query process)
• Collaborate with operational and clinical partners to improve documentation quality and consistency
• Complete any pre-interview questionnaire/assessment steps required for selection

What we’re looking for

• Epic experience
• Prior outpatient CDI experience (extensive inpatient CDI may be considered) 
• CDIP or CCDS-O certification is required
• Active clinical license with clinical experience (RN, MD, DO)
• Ability to make independent clinical determinations and clearly articulate rationale
• Will require onsite orientation before becoming fully remote
• CRC (or similar) certification
