BE THE CEO OF YOUR JOB
As the SVP of People & Culture, you are the key executive responsible for effectively managing, directing, and driving the results of the People & Culture Department on a strategic level. This position is responsible for managing the company's Ultimate Objective, Manifesto and people strategy in collaboration with the Executive Team. Senior advisor to executives, management and employees on all areas of People & Culture, while providing leadership and promoting a positive overall employee experience.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads a team.
- Accountable for the performance and results of operations within the company or department function.
- Primarily provides leadership through subordinate managers.
- Leads the People & Culture Department, which includes People Experience, Compensation & Benefits, People Development. Confidently articulates vision that excites and inspires others.
- Collaborates with the Executive Team to develop and implement the company's strategic plan and vision for the company.
- Responsible for upholding ethical business practices & confidentiality.
- Responsible for the execution and evaluation of the results of the People & Culture Department's impact on the company's overall vision and strategy.
- Creates department Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and coordinates all division OKRs for their department.
- Serves on Department Head team, working together, to ensure communication is open and transparent, across all departments, to achieve the company's strategic goals.
- Has broad latitude and authority to make significant decisions within their department.
- Oversees an entire department and first level managers.
- Responsible for communicating and implementing the company strategic plan to their corresponding departments.
- Ensures day-to-day operations align with fulfilling the company's strategic goals. Ability to drive teamwork and achieve results.
- Resolves complex issues based on a thorough analysis of situations & data found through internal and external research. Determines the methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for initiatives, people & projects.
- Makes decisions that may serve as precedent for future decisions affecting the entire organization.
- Operates with substantial latitude for action or decision making. Exercises independent judgement.
- Communicates obstacles & recommended solutions with other members of Leadership.
- Oversees all aspects of human resource management including employee relations, policies, practices and operations.
- Takes a strategic and comprehensive approach to managing employees and the company culture and environment.
- Designs and carries out talent strategies including recruitment, hiring, developing and retaining employees.
- Develops competencies that enhance individual and organizational performance.
- Manages the implementation and integration of technology through improved staffing, training, and communication with employees.

Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent or 5-10 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience and/or Training
- 5-10 years experience in leading people in a department, division or region
- Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration, effective oral and written communications skills, excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and initiate appropriate course of action.
- Ability to evaluate and develop creative solutions to issues without prior precedent, usually based on limited information.
- Ability to interpret a variety of governmental laws, insurance plans, and technical information furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and personnel policies and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, executives and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to travel as necessary.
Technology/Equipment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
