Description

Sell gate admission tickets and other tickets at various locations within the Summerfest grounds. 

Maintain the integrity of the selling window
Secure all tickets and cash throughout the shift
Accurately and efficiently process all ticket sale transactions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Operate the TM1 system accurately and efficiently
Provide friendly, professional assistance to guests
Familiarity with your work area including the Summerfest grounds
Maintain a strong working knowledge of all Summerfest ticket types
Follow all opening and closing procedures
Communicate employee concerns to the Admissions Managers
Adhere to Milwaukee World Festival/Summerfest uniform policy and operational policies
Performs other duties as assigned 
Ability to safely walk long distances throughout the festival grounds
Ability to remain standing or seated for extended periods of time 
Constant movement, bending, reaching and repetitive motions  
Ability to occasionally lift stock up to 50 pounds 

Requirements

Previous cash handling and/or cashier experience, preferred 
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Basic math skills and ability to accurately count and reconcile cash
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime
