We are currently seeking to hire a highly dedicated High School Associate Principal. Requirements
Our Ideal Candidate
- Valid Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Principal license.
- At least three (3) years of successful teaching and leadership experience.
- Commitment to hold high academic and behavioral expectations for all students.
- Ability to nurture a culture of learning, a safe and positive climate, collaborative professional learning communities, the social/emotional development of students, and relationships with high school families.
- Superior ability to demonstrate culturally relevant practices (diversity, equity, and inclusion).
- Exceptional ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
- Ability to positively problem-solve challenging situations through collaboration, teamwork, and respect.
- Desired mission to lead and possess the organizational skills necessary to lead and manage a large organization.
- Commitment to high professional standards and ethics.
- Excellent listening, communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of young people and adults.
- Ability to effectively communicate, orally and written, with district administrators, staff, and the general public.
- Timeliness in meeting deadlines, requests, and other professional responsibilities.
- Demonstrated the ability to be flexible and adaptable, especially during times of change.
- A deep desire to participate in professional learning, including conferences, academies, courses, or professional coaching to improve and stimulate the Administrators' professional growth.
- Outstanding ability to work independently within the job description and make reasoned, sound judgments and decisions.
- Excellent knowledge of and skill in applying all statutes, rules, regulations, case law, and school board policies affecting student records, attendance, and discipline.
- Strong knowledge of and computer skills appropriate for managing student records and attendance.
